Accurate, Efficient Surveying in Obstacles
As a client of Topométrica, Ltd. for nearly two decades, my company has a long history with a variety of SOKKIA equipment – electronic Total Stations, digital/automatic levels and multiple prisms. Knowing SOKKIA’s high standards, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to use the GSR2700 ISX.
After just a few minutes of using the GSR2700 ISX, we found that it was very fast and easy to use. It tracked a signal very easy without any difficulty. We compared the readings to data collected by our Total Station, and the data proved to be accurate.
We currently own and use an older SOKKIA GPS receiver, the Radian, for many of our surveys. However, we found that the GSR2700 ISX significantly increased the speed of the data collection and accuracy of the job. The compact receiver proved that it quickly acquires signals, even in difficult conditions where other GPS equipment often struggle. The office software to transfer the data for editing was also easy to use and understand.
Based on our experience, we urge others to use the GSR2700 ISX.
